Guthrie Castle took part in Wedding TV’s 10 part series The Best of British: Wedding Venues in September through to November last year. We were up against 26 other venues in the whole of the United Kingdom to win the title.

We were one of the only two venues chosen to compete in Scotland and on the 24th November the winner was announced, although we were not crowned the winner Guthrie Castle was awarded the title of Regional Winner and we were in the top 5 of the most viewed venues throughout the competition. Receiving this title as Regional Winner 2009 is a privilege as we were against venues that have been running for many years but also because the public voted for us.
