Two Nights - Monday to Thursday
For couples wishing to celebrate their wedding in Scotland by staying two nights at this magical castle between Monday and Thursday we offer
Package E
- Exclusive use of the Castle, Chapel, Historic Walled Garden and Grounds and Pavilion.
- For the “Wedding Breakfast” we provide all crockery, silver cutlery, crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins, tables, chairs and fully trained and uniformed waitressing staff.
- Two night’s accommodation for up to 12 guests in the castle and 4 guests in one of the estate cottages just a few minutes walk from the castle. Generally a Continental breakfast is served on the first morning and a full Scottish breakfast on the second.
- Guests will have access to the Castle and cottages from 12 noon on the day of arrival and the departure time is 10:30am. Bedrooms are generally to be vacated by 09:30am.
For an additional cost, up to 14 further guests may be accommodated in estate cottages just a short walk from the castle and have breakfast with the rest of the party in the castle’s splended dining room. Rates can be found on our tariffs page.
This package is most suitable for those couples from further a field who wish to enjoy an extended stay at their chosen wedding venue. This will allow you to “settle in” and relax into the surroundings on day one and enjoy a leisurely start to your wedding day the following morning. The guys often have a game of golf around our nine hole course whilst the girls pamper themselves and get prepared in the “ladies sitting room”.
In the past couples have done a variety of things on the first evening such as dining out at a local restaurant or having an informal or more formal dinner in the castle, a BBQ with drinks from our lounge bar - one couple even held a murder mystery night!
