Guthrie Castle retains all the charm and character of a castle that dates back to 1468, yet is a has a wonderful "homely/cosy" feel to it - it is an ideal castle wedding venue. Whether you are planning a small intimate wedding or a large party with up to 300 guests there are rooms / areas within the castle and grounds that will provide the perfect backdrop for your romantic castle wedding. Up to 32 guest can be accommodated overnight on the estate and, best of all, you can plan a outdoor wedding ceremony in our stunning walled garden in the knowledge that should the weather force us to move indoors we can either make use of one of the main reception rooms in the castle, or for small groups our own delightful chapel - larger groups can also make use of Guthrie Village Church, which dates back to the 12th century and is only a couple of minutes from the castle. We are also licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies inside the castle or our "pavilion".
