“We wanted to get married in a Scottish Castle and after visiting Guthrie we knew that it was the perfect place.  The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the Castle itself feels very cosy.

As our wedding party was quite small, we were able to enjoy the Castle for most of our wedding day.  The service exceeded all expectations.  Everything from the ceremony to the evening buffet went very smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.  The staff are lovely and made us feel very relaxed – we felt that the Castle was ours for the day!  The Pavilion was also a great place for our ceilidh in the evening.

The food was superb, and the Castle was very accommodating with special requests.  The accommodation was excellent too, both in the Castle and the surrounding cottages; we would definitely recommend staying in the Carrington Cottage!

We would like to say a big Thank You to all the staff at Guthrie Castle for making it such a perfect day, in particular Maeghan who organised everything on the day and Pamela who promptly dealt with all our queries throughout the year.  We had an amazing time!”
