"I have always dreamed of a fairytale wedding in Scotland, in a Scottish castle in fact, and was delighted when I came across Guthrie whilst surfing the web!  It looks great in the photos but is even more amazing when seen with your own eyes.  Our day was everything we wished for - the staff couldn’t have been more attentive.  Our guests are raving about "our castle" to this day…"

Up to 32 guest can be accommodated overnight on the estate and, best of all, you can plan a outdoor wedding ceremony in our stunning walled garden in the knowledge that should the weather force us to move indoors we can either make use of one of the main reception rooms in the castle, or for small groups our own delightful chapel - larger groups can also make use of Guthrie Village Church, which dates back to the 12th century and is only a couple of minutes from the castle.  We are also licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies inside the castle or our "pavilion".
