Humanist Wedding Services in Scotland
Scotland is one of only six countries in the world where Humanist marriage ceremonies are legal. These ceremonies, as long as they are conducted by an offical celebrant (authorized by the Registrar General of Scotland), have the same legal status as civil and religious weddings. They can take place anywhere within the grounds of this romantic castle, or inside the castle itself.
This type of service is an ideal alternative to the normal “Civil ceremony” conducted by a Registrar.
The Humanist ceremony respects virtually all situations; remarriage after divorce, weddings between people of different faiths or of no faith, and commitment ceremonies allowing gay couples to declare their love for each other (commonly recognised as “civil partnerships”).
Our experienced wedding coordinators can help you contact a suitable Celebrant and decide on which location within this romantic castle wedding venue is best for your Humanist wedding celebration.
